Gabriela Casineanu, Thoughts Designer’s founder and principal, is a Romanian-Canadian thought leader and award-winning author who successfully navigated several career transitions and tackled various fields:

Gabriela holds an MBA in SME from Université Paris-Est Créteil (France) and a Master in Electronics Engineering from University Politechnica of Bucarest (Romania). Trained by two prestigious coaching institutions (CTI, CRR Global), she was certified by the International Coach Federation in 2008.
Gabriela enjoys tapping into her wealth of knowledge, to creatively combine concepts and techniques from various fields to better serve her clients. When needed, she teams up with other professionals to bring in the required expertise for a specific project.
Her life became a self-discovery journey when she started to apply coaching to herself. And, with a daily meditation practice since 2007, her intuition sharpened as a by-product. You’ll often find her tapping into meditative and intuitive techniques for ideas and creative problem-solving.
Her first book became an Amazon bestseller in nine countries in 2017 and won the Readers’ Favorite 2018 International Book Award – Bronze Medal. Within less than two years, she self-published nine more books. An introvert herself, Gabriela is currently working on a new book project that encourages introverts to leverage more their strengths to overcome challenges.
She often gives back to the community, and she enjoys the most building and strengthening membership-based organizations. She was a Board of Directors member for several organizations, founder and president of the English-French Toastmasters Club (the first true Canadian Toastmasters Club in Toronto, as someone mentioned). Based on her experience of becoming an award-winning author, she recently founded and became the president of the Immigrant Writers Association – a non-profit corporation aiming to encourage immigrants to express themselves more through writing. We have so much to offer to this world!
